Almost halfway through 2023 a lot of change has taken place especially within the Vitrex sales organisation. Elsewhere in this newsletter you will be able to read “This issue’s portrait” about Renè who has taken over the role from our previous colleague Olav Csiky who left the company back in April to pursue new challenges within a completely new type of business. For my own part I was offered to take on the challenge of becoming Vitrex’s new CSO. Before I have worked for Vitrex almost three years as Area Sales Manager with my own portfolio of customers mainly in the UK and the US. The time as Area Sales Manager offered me a good chance to get familiar with the Vitrex business and future potential within the CTI group. I look very much forward to get the chance in the near future – together with our team of Area Managers – to catch up with you when time permits. FIME 2023 – USA

We are happy to announce, that we will be exhibiting at FIME 2023. The exhibition is being held from the 21st to the 24th of June in Miami, Florida, USA. This is the first exhibition Vitrex Medical are attending in the Americas in recent years and we expect to see visitors from both North- and South America. Please come by our stand T57 inside the Danish Export Associations Pavilion. You are most welcome to pre-book a meeting with us by contact us at It will be our Area Sales Manager Jonas E. This issue’s portrait

René Roar Odgaard recently joined Vitrex Medical as Area Sales Manager and has taken on the sales responsibility for Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Greece, and a couple of other markets.
René has a broad and diverse background. He’s a former professional helicopter pilot and helicopter instructor and has worked in both USA and Denmark. He has worked with sales, advertising and marketing for over 22 years.

After he switched to technical sales of professional B2B solutions, he has worked with a diverse group of customers within the building and lighting industry in Scandinavia and the DACH Region.

René will support our current distributors, finding new and have his focus on development of the business. René is looking forward to attending you in English, German or Danish. René will be trained to become part of the Vitrex specialist team when it comes to Capillary Tubes produced in Denmark. He will assist with special projects for capillary tubes with our valued distributors.

René lives with his 2 children in Copenhagen, is an avid DIY man, with an abundance of hand and power tools. He has a passion for cooking and road cycling, ride year-round and participate in cycling events around Europe when time allows it.
