Vitrex Mylar Wrap Haematocrit Tubes combine the benefits from glass tubes and plastic tubes by offering the precision and chemical resistance of glass with the safety provided by a Mylar overwrap. The tubes therefore offer enhanced safety with no compromises. With Vitrex Mylar Wrap Haematocrit Tubes the chance of contamination due to glass fragments or aerosols is greatly reduced. Accidental breakage is significantly reduced particularly when pressing the tube into sealing clay. In the event of breakage, the Mylar wrapping will help contain the liquid and provide an added layer of protection against cuts from broken glass. The tubes are available plain and heparinised. They are packed in vials of 100 pcs.
