The end of 2023 is rapidly approaching and it is time for all of us to make the final sprint. It’s been a year of change and challenges for Vitrex both when it comes to organisational changes but also in terms of the increased external regulatory requirements. Most important is that we now feel well prepared for a new year and look forward to the opportunities that we strongly believe lies in front of us together with you being our customers/partners.
This week we sent out a Customer Satisfaction Survey allowing you to provide us feed-back on our performance through the year.
Please also find information in this issue about our plan to phase out our Press II Safety Lancets and replace it with Vitrex Ultrasafe.

Vitrex Tubes – New Package Design
We became a part of CTI group 9 years ago. A part of our branding strategy today is to align the three group company brands into one united single brand. One step is to create the same design for all the group’s joint product brands one by one. With the new IVDR regulation and new requirements for labelling we decided, that now is the right time to make this change and implement a new design for our tubes’ overall packaging design. The photos portray the old design and the new design of each product line of tubes.

Vitrex Lancets
– Update on Press ll and Vitrex Ultrasafe lancets
The intended use of Press ll and Vitrex Ultrasafe lancet are the same, but Vitrex Ultrasafe offers a unique Danish design with additional safety and ease of mind.

We do understand that there might be some circumstances, that influences on the possible transition from Press ll lancet to Vitrex Ultrasafe, so therefore we recommend you to contact your Area Sales Manager, if you consider there will be a challenge in your market.
Exhibitions
Medica 2023
We exhibited at Medica in November 2023 in Düsseldorf. We had an exciting and busy week meeting our valued customers, partners and suppliers as well as new potential ones. We and our colleagues from Chirana T. Injecta experienced a high interest in our products and we also had the chance to showcase some of our newest products. We thank our many guests for a great exhibition and we look forward to seeing you again next year at Medica 2024.
Vet Show London
Our Area Sales Manager Frank Hansen attended London Vet Show, which was held from the 16th-17th of November 2023 in London. London Vet Show is one of the largest exhibitions for veterinary professionals and practitioners. Our Area Sales Manager was there to support one of our customers on their stand with his expertise and know-how on our Vitrex Surgical Sutures. The stand was busy and there was a great interest in Vitrex Sutures from the visitors. We are always happy to help and support our valued customers, so you are welcome to contact us, if the opportunity of us joining you on an exhibition would be of interest.

Nikita returned from maternity leave two months ago, as she had a daughter in the beginning of 2023. She lives with her husband and two daughters near Vitrex. She enjoys spending time with her family and has a passion for cooking.

Christmas Holiday 2023
This means that the last operating day for shipment of orders is the 19th of December.
We know from experience that our production is very busy in the period just before and after the Christmas holidays. In order to fulfil all requested delivery times, we kindly ask you to inform us what you need as early as possible for the next period of time. Then we shall do our best to meet all requests.
