Micro Hematocrit Tube
Micro Hematocrit Tubes are quality products that conform to international Standard ISO 12772.
Micro Hematocrit Tubes VITREX have been manufactured in more than 40 years by one of the world most demanded manufacturers. All tubes are supplied fire polished, which make it more comfortable to the patient and reduces wear on the centrifuge seals.
The tubes are supplied with color-coding on the packaging and on the tubes in plain (blue color), or with uniform sodium heparinisation (red color), ammonia heparinisation (green color) or lithium heparinisation (orange color). Each heparinized Micro Hematocrit Tube contains at least 4 IU heparin as prescribed by the Standard.
We recommend sealing the tubes with VITREX Sigillum Wax after aspirating the blood. The wax plate has 2x24 numbered positions per pair, which makes it easy to seal and transport samples. Each pair can be forced apart and used separately. The even wax layer ensures uniform sealing.
The Micro Hematocrit tubes are available for distributors and OEM in two types of packaging: Dispenser vials of 100 tubes each for hygienic and easy handling; and economy cardboard boxes, which reduce transport and handling costs. Special requirements regarding marking, dimensions or impregnation can be met.
